Our most popular family tours and activities; plus what's coming this fall 2026
Bonjour from Paris
As we wrap up our ninth summer, I want to say a very big MERCI to the families who explored, tasted, painted, and played with us this year. And BONJOUR to those of you just beginning to dream about your next Paris adventure. I started Paris for Kids with a simple idea: Paris should be just as interesting for kids as it is for their parents.
Nine years later, that still guides everything we do. We create experiences that introduce kids to Paris through food, art, history, and culture, without making any of it feel like a lesson.
And what a summer it was.
We welcomed more than double the families we did in 2025, survived four heatwaves, and somehow kept the macarons flowing. Our Sweets Tour in Saint-Germain was the runaway favourite, the French Food & History Tour sold out, and our Impressionism Workshop became the surprise hit of the summer. It turns out, ages 5 to 95 can paint like Monet with a little encouragement.
Thank you for being part of Paris for Kids, whether you’ve been exploring with us for years or have only just found us. I can’t wait to show you what we have planned next.
À bientôt, Aly McGuire, Founder, Paris for Kids

What's New
TL;DR: Paris art, prints + postcards have found a permanent little home at Atelier 48. Our post card program ' La Petite Poste' is now open for registration through September 15th.
Drawn Somewhere is sticking around Atelier 48
After a summer residency at Atelier 48, we’re happy to say Drawn Somewhere is sticking around. We’re creating a permanent Drawn Somewhere Petite Boutique inside the shop, filled with Paris prints, postcards, original artwork, and more goodies on the way, all by our resident artist, Rebekah MacKay.
A little corner of Paris art to take home with you. Visit the Drawn Somewhere Petite Boutique at our shop, 48 Rue Greneta, 75002 Paris.
We’ve also teamed up with Drawn Somewhere to create a new Paris activity set just for Paris for Kids families, designed to get kids drawing, coloring, looking, and discovering as they explore the city. Keep an eye out for this in Fall 2026.
Looking for a custom commission, want to meet the artist, or have questions about the Paris collection? Contact Rebekah at drawnsomewhere@gmail.com.

We've launched a PEN PAL program
This fall, we’re partnering with primary schools in Paris to connect kids with French pen pals.
Each child will be matched with a French student and receive 8 postcards and prompts to keep the letters going. It’s a simple way to practice writing, discover another culture, and make a friend in Paris.
And they’re ready: 50 French kids ages 5–18 have already signed up.
Join us in Paris

Whether your family would rather taste, paint, explore, or escape the city for the day, there’s a Paris for Kids adventure for you.
What we love
A few things on our list this month (and next) in Paris
HERITAGE DAYS

Sept 19–20
Once a year, some of Paris’s usually closed doors swing open, including the Élysée Palace. Even better? It’s free.
ZOO RUN

Sept 20
Run or stroll through the zoo before the gates open, with proceeds supporting wildlife conservation. Croissants afterwards, obviously.
MARY CASSATT

Oct 6 – Jan 31
Nearly 80 works from one of our favourite Impressionists. A very good excuse for a family afternoon at the Orsay.
MUSEUM NIGHT

Through Oct 25
Museums after dark. Later, livelier, and much more fun than another audio guide.
