A visit to the Pompidou Centre in the late afternoon means that the crowds have disappeared and we can roam the galleries in peace! 

 

During the one-hour walk through the fourth floor we will discover key works by iconic artists like Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger, Vassily Kandinsky, Jean Dubuffet and Andy Warhol. Your family will learn about the major movements that have shaped art and culture in the 20th and 21st centuries, such as Cubism and Surrealism.

 

We take time for photos overlooking the rooftops of Paris from the terrace and you are welcome to continue exploring the museum, workshops or boutiques on your own after the tour finishes.
